What is the Application Class?
What can I expect from the Application Classes?
- All work is on-camera
- Classes last approximately 3 to 4 hours
- A new script from current hour-long TV dramas, sitcoms, feature films, and other sources are sent for the first 3 weeks of the month
- The last week of the month is the “Callback Class” in which students bring back one of the first three scripts as a callback
- One on one, on camera, audition simulation which implements the ideas and concepts covered in The Works
- Script breakdown
- Group review of recorded mock auditions with constructive feedback provided

About Instructors

Jim Gleason
Jim has been acting successfully since 1988 in film and high profile episodic television, including House, M.D., Grey’s Anatomy and NCIS: New Orleans. He was featured in the recently released film Trumbo, opposite Bryan Cranston of Breaking Bad fame and one of his most well-known feature films was Lee Daniels’ The Butler, which he filmed shortly after moving home to Mandeville after a 14-year stint in Los Angeles.
